Yesterday was no different. Salman Khan’s EID release, Tubelight, might have not reaped the fruits as per his expectations, but Salman’s fans gathered outside his house just like every EID to shower him with love.

Salman Khan, as a custom, came out to his apartment’s balcony to wave to his fans. After wishing his fans, it was time to enjoy the festival with family and friends. By evening, Bollywood stars started arriving at Salman’s residence.

While Salman Khan celebrated the special day, a lot was expected from it in terms of Tubelight’s box-office collection. However, the film slipped further and managed to earn Rs 19.09 crore only on EID. Kabir Khan’s film has not crossed the Rs 100 crore mark till now- the total of the long weekend is Rs 83.86 crore.

Tubelight, directed by Kabir Khan, is based on the 2015 American war drama Little Boy. Salman plays the simpleton Laxman, whose only goal is to bring his brother, Bharat (Sohail Khan), back home. Currently, Salman Khan is working on Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai starring Katrina Kaif as the female lead.
